AMARON creates high-energy moments at Tata Mumbai Marathon 2026

AMARON, the flagship brand of Amara Raja Energy & Mobility (ARE&M), delivered a high-energy presence at the Tata Mumbai Marathon held on 18th Jan 2026 as the official ‘Powered By’ partner. Through a thoughtfully designed multi-touchpoint engagement strategy, the brand amplified visibility, strengthened audience connect, and celebrated the spirit of endurance that defines marathon culture.

A striking high-impact installation resembling an AMARON battery was unveiled at one of Mumbai’s most iconic junctions opposite the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus. The four-sided LED countdown timer served as a dynamic pre-race landmark, turning the high-traffic selfie spot into a marquee brand moment. The installation garnered over a million views and strong social media buzz with event ambassador and Olympian Andre De Grass himself present for the reveal.

In line with the brand’s values of endurance, consistency and reliability, the experiential stall at the Marathon Expo became a key attraction for thousands of runners and fitness enthusiasts collecting their race kits. The interactive ‘Charge-Up’ buzz‑wire challenge encouraged visitors to test their focus and steady-handed stamina, symbolising what it means to stay powered through demanding moments. The activity drew substantial footfall across all expo days.

On race day, AMARON brought its philosophy of delivering power that lasts long, really long, to life through strategic branding placements across the marathon course. The ‘AMARON Endurance Stretch’ had a vibrant cheer zone featuring traditional Maharashtrian dhol performers who injected energy into the runners at the most crucial uphill stretch of the route at Peddar Road, motivating runners when they needed it most. The brand further elevated participant experience with a custom photo backdrop at the runner holding area, resulting in strong on‑ground visibility and shareable social moments. Needless to say, all support vehicles used in managing the event, including pacer vehicles and ambulances, were powered by AMARON.

“Marathons have a unique way of transforming ordinary individuals into silent heroes – people driven not by applause, but by discipline, perseverance, and the courage to endure. Amaron’s association with the Tata Mumbai Marathon is an ode to these silent heroes who embody quiet strength and consistency. Our presence on the ground created a meaningful and memorable impact.” said Mr. Chandrasekar Radhakrishnan, Chief Business Officer – Automotive and Home Energy Business (India & SAARC), Amara Raja Energy & Mobility.

Amaron will be powering Procam International’s marathons in Delhi, Bangalore and Kolkata in 2026.
