India Secures Three Guinness World Records in “Swasth Nari” Drive
The records, officially certified by Guinness World Records (GWR), recognize India’s unprecedented scale of participation in digital health registration and screening activities conducted between September 17 and October 2, 2025, coinciding with Poshan Maah (National Nutrition Month).
The Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar campaign — meaning “Healthy Woman, Empowered Family” — was designed to improve health outcomes for women, adolescent girls, and children by promoting early detection, screening, and preventive health awareness.
Over the course of the campaign:
More than 19.7 lakh health camps were conducted across India.
A total footfall exceeding 11 crore citizens was recorded across health platforms and camps.
The initiative saw the active collaboration of 20 central ministries, numerous state departments, medical colleges, and private organizations.
Community engagement was key — with participation from 5 lakh Panchayati Raj representatives, 94 lakh Self-Help Group (SHG) members, and over 1.14 crore students from schools and colleges nationwide.
